 It was the late 1990s.  I was working as a data entry clerk for an immigration attorney in Edinburg, Texas. The 9 mile drive from Mission, Texas was a serene one.  Edinburg is a bedroom community and the county seat. Hidalgo County,  Texas. Roy and I would discuss music. A lot of listen to this. He was a Doors fan who listened to all kinds of musica. One day I mentioned a hippopotamus and Roy said Hittapotamus. WE laughed heartily about how it sounded. I had suggested this year that he get into blogging. His passing on August 30, 2021 devasted US. This would have been his blog where WE talk about music. Let's Do That!

 ROJELIO GONZALEZ was born on January 20, 2021. He was OUR Brother and Protector.  Roy was mechanically inclined, an adventurer. He could fight.  It had to be the last resort. Roger was a a voracious reader.  He was an excellent cook. He was a Marine.  His loyalty to his family was strong to the very end.  He passed away on August 30, 20121.  He had a heart condition. Only that stopped him. Roy and I cared for OUR elderly 92 year old Mom.  I had resigned from my Customer Service Representative job back in January 2014 to help my brother care for OUR elderly father, Mom and Aunt Alice. Roy had been the sole provider for the 3 since WE took in Aunt Alice who suffered from Alzheimer's in 2007. Dad was a diabetic and Mom suffers from Depression and Schizophrenia. Dad passed away on February 12, 2014. Aunt Alice died on November 20,  2017. WE miss Roy immensely.  The sorrow and pain is terrible. There is a task....a mission at hand and the fa...
